I know i should be really impressed but, watching the video, i just couldn't get over how creepy her face looks. there's just something wrong with it.

Welcome to the uncanny valley. Don't let the androids creep you out. Rest assured that they aren't quite ready to replace you yet.

take a look at the photos SpartanFX posted. You'll see the improvement. Oh and her face looked really creepy sometimes in that 2006 video, but everything else looked insane.

the video is not new ,,,it's from 2 years ago,,,screen shots are new

i think, for me, it's less about being 2 years old and more being in the so-called "uncanny vally".  it's so close to being photorealistic but not quite.  from a technical standpoint it is very impressive (especially the screens) but i still don't like it.

Looks good, to me it seems like a step up from MGS4.

Hope they are in-game and not FMV.

lol, beat me to it. xD

Before you proclaim that the game is stuck in the uncanny valley, how abouts we wait for some recent video footage? Because that video is a 2 year old, quickly thrown together tech demo. By no means does it represent how the final game is going to look and feel.

If I remember correctly, Quantic Dream claim to have escaped the uncanny valley.

For those wanting to know what the game's about: it's an adventure game. Unlike Quantic Dream's previous work, there's no fantasy/science fiction edge to the story. The game's subtitle is 'The Origami Killer', so I'm guessing a serial killer is involved in the story somewhere.

Wow. Nice shots. And they are definitely Heavy Rain. The close up on the eyes has been shown before.

Wow if those are in-game.

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.  The only thing that really worried me was the ether.  There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke

It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...."  Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. Thompson
