LOL MoH has always been a bad CallofDuty copy. Although I salute them we have seen enough WW2. (Treyarch CoD5 will also suck)

The Medal of Honor series predates Call of Duty by a number of years.

Go for the Gold, EA. Make MoH a Wii game set in the civil war.

Imagine the waggle fun of reloading a musket or sawing off the leg of your fellow soldier! I'm a genius!

I've had thoughts about a civil war type FPS. I mean, what's left after World War II, modern day, and sci-fi?

Man, long reload times and a very low accuracy? That game would OWN!

Actually, there is a Half-Life (1 and 2) mod in the Revolutionary War period that's kind of like that.

I'm feeling dizzy... Time not making sense...

You realize that Infinity Ward got their start on the MoH games, right? Then they started the CoD series...

The first few MoH games were very good.

You think the Halo crowd would buy into a musket-based game? That would rock! You could be called "nigger" and "fag" by 12 year olds at least 25 times before you could get off a second shot... Sign me up!

Really? So I was jumping to conclusions. I must admit I only played one Medal of Honor game a long time ago and was rather put off. While I liked Call of Duty2. Although only CoD4 really brought me over. Perhaps I simply hate WW2 (unless they have monster in it RtCW FTW )

They weren't even that similar to what COD is now. MoH started out more as a special-ops, lone-wolf kind of deal. Basically it wanted to be Goldeneye in WWII. They swtiched it for Allied Assault - which was released before CoD.

I haven't played any of the old MoH games for years, but I bought two and remembered enjoying them.

I did play the first one before I had a Dual shock, though. Aiming was a bitch at times.

LOL. That had to be an unpleasant experience. Too bad, the first MoH was a great game.

Screw Keifer Sutherland. Another reason not to buy COD5.

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.  The only thing that really worried me was the ether.  There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke

It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...."  Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. Thompson
