Is there anyone else out there on this forum that plays motorstorm, if so I would like to hear your thoughts on the game. Here are mine

     If one were to describe motorstorm with one word. I think intense would due the game justice. Afterall, has anyone else ever played a game this intense? With big rigs behind you, a buggy in front of crashing and turning into a moving junk pile, I doubt it. I doubt any other game has been able to create the same sense of chaos and intensity that motorstorm has. This game has managed to raise the bar to unpresidated levels of intensity and excitement. Not only is it intense and nerve wreaking, it is fun. In fact, I have never had so much fun playing a racing game in the past. The graphics are state of the art as well. After playing this game you will have trouble playing other racing titles because you just won't be able to bare the game without the graphics that motorstorm sported. Before I drag this out any further, let me finish this by saying. The game is just plain fun to play, and that is really the only thing that matters when you really think about it.

It doesn't bring any new concepts into play, none at all. What it does do however, is revolutionize those concepts. It makes everything feel new and refreshed. It gives new life to age old concepts if you will.

It does indeed appear that you may not even have played this game. I say this because you mentioned "special bonus". There is none of that rubbish in this game. It is a hybrid of simulation and arcade gameplay. A perfect fusion of the two indeed.

And in reply to your first question, I have played a game such as that. In fact the first one that comes to mind is the mario-kart iteration that appeared on the 64. And let me tell you, the two games share almost nothing in common. The fact that you bring mario-kart up in an attempt to discredit motorstorm shows just how ignorant you actually are.

It reminds me of Blizzard games, in that the game isn't especially innovative, but an extremely effective and entertaining application of the current model (although perhaps not to such an extremely polished and brilliant an extent. And don't take that as an insult: saying "it's not quite as good as Blizzard" is still a great compliment). 

A little hyperbolic their savage, but it does look like quite the racer.

I think it's great, however I hate then annoying feature that speeds up the cars behind, and slows the ones in front, I mean, yes I have got from last to 1st in a lap, but I've also gone from first to about 5th in the last 10 seconds of the race, so infuriating really. Also, I found that after getting about 1/2 way through many of the races become incredibly hard, especially motorbike ones, then again, I'm more of a fan of GT4/WRC racing, that arcade style racing

About what I saied,
In fact, Motorstorm remember me Mariokart type of game because of the booster that u can use to improve ur speed (even if u dont get it on the ground)
+ arcade style with some drift effect
+ the fun of a multiplayer game

You just saied that Motorstorm was "intense" so I tried to take a game that was suppose to be "intense" like a Mariokart like game when u never know what will happen in the next 10 sec because there is always some retarded shit that make the game so "intense".

If I follow ur "test" the only information is "intense" and pretty graphisms.
I'm sorry for me it is not enought to understand why Motorstorm is a must have game (you seems quite happy with it, aren't you ?)

just a question about blizzard game,
I completely aggry with you for WoW
But Warcraft1 was "inspired" from which game ?
(maybe Dune1 and 2 ? C&C ?)
And more, from which game was inspired Diablo1 ?
and more difficult, which game was inspired "Lost Vikings" ?

(take it easy it is just little question to better understand "Blizzard Story", I like Blizzard, played a lot War3, and respect a lot Starcraft)

I had it but i trade it in. The gameplay was very intense and the visuals were mind blowing but the content was very dissapointing. Only 2 modes ur kidding me right. I also didnt like the fact you couldnt pick your type of car in the single player mode. Also no split screen, or arcade mode ( has time trial now though). The online play is very fun as well. I give it 7/10

That's the thing about Nintendo games, you have so many legendary games that insulting one of them gets you a reply equivelant to that of insulting Casa Blanca to a movie Critic. I will let you off the hook with a warning this time.
