Yeah fair come back on the surveys...

If what the surveys say is true then we should expect a very powerful surge of interest in PS3 eventually.

PS3 still needs two main things.

1. A price drop to make it competitive. A lot of gamers dont watch movies and wont pay a high price just because of Blu Ray. 299 GBP (600 USD) in the UK is just a bad joke.

2. An exclusive mainstream killer app. Yes I know the MGS4 is a great game but many people hate the genre. I'd go a far as to say its a niche genre. GT5 will have more appeal but where is the groundbreaking exclusive like GTA3 which really gave Sony a leg up last gen.

You'd be insane to think so. It would never happen, and if a console exclusivity for a new GTA ever did happen, why wouldn't it go over to the 360 instead?

I'm starting to think that the recent weeks sales of the PS3 below the 360 could possibly be the starting signs that PS3 sales are slowing down. It's had it's surge of sales since launch and now they're stabilising. The PS3 will not be catching the 360 anytime soon.

 well they made Resident Evil 0...Remake 1...Resident evil 4 exclusive to GC even know Resident Evil 2 and CVX sold better on Playstation than Nintendo...I know Resident Evil 4 eventally turned into a timed exclusive because its sales on GC weren't that high but i think it was intended to be a exclusive last gen. GTAV or whatever the next GTA to be called would still sell millions by the time it releases since the PS3 userbase will be a lot higher and Rockstar can hype this game to be a game to take full advantage of the PS3 and say it will remain exclusive because of that reason. Not that i think Rockstar would make a GTA PS3 exclusive even know i want them to since imo i think 360 storage DVD and lack of hard-drive in every SKU held back GTAIV and thats why many PS3 fans want a exclusive GTA game. Maybe L.A. Noire could be that game since its like a GTA game but set in the 40's or something and its only been confirmed PS3

Uncharted does have a longer story and much more diverse gameplay than Gears of War.

Both are around 10 hours in single player mode, but Gears of War has far more replay value because of the online multiplayer. Uncharted is a great game, but once you've finished it there's not a lot of reason to go back and play it again.

"Long in the tooth" means old. It refers to the fact that one can determine a horse's age by looking at its teeth. A horse's gums recede as it ages causing its teeth to look "long."

 Your assuming of course that most 360 owners have the ability to play online
