Zappos increased their cashback too, so you can get a 360 premium for $245.99 after cashback. Zappos is a really reliable company too, although I'm not sure why they are selling video games since they normally sell shoes. Good deal for shoes too with a 18% cashback.

Zappos sells videogames, too? haha, I never knew that. I bought some shoes from them before though. Good deal for the 360 premium if you use the cashback with it.

@ FishyJoe

Can you explain this cashback program and how it works?

Whats in it for Microsoft?

Basically they are just bribing you to use their search engine. You buy something by clicking on one of their links and 60 days later they mail you a check with your cashback.

Can you do it for anything?

That must cost them a S*&TLOAD!!!!

Uhm yeah. Kind of like how making XBoxes has cost them craploads (with little relief in site!).  They have, essentially, unlimited funds.  They have the worlds most complacent shareholders. They are buying a piece of the video game market, and in the process screwing it up for the incumbents, and they will simply buy a piece of the search market as well.

Their net profit is around 1,250,000,000 per month. Happy shopping!

 Uhm yea

Trying to convince me the Wii is a real adult game machine 'if you play it right' is like trying to convince me Tofu tastes great 'if you just cook it right'

Zappos used to have the PS3 in stock, but they must have sold out. That would have been an incredible deal with an 18% cashback.

I really wish you wouldn't post things like this.  Now I need to explain to my wife why we need a second 360...

The price drop is too aggresive , a cheaper XBOX may actualy compliment the PS3 making it look more the preimum option.

I hear this argument all the time about Wii vs 360, Wii vs PS3 or Xbox 360 vs PS3 (even PS3 vs PS3 when they did their massive cuts). I have never seen one bit of evidence that suggests this factor is a major force in the market.

I have Wii60. Wii didn't have enough games for me this holiday season,a nd 360 has 20 or so games I wanted. However, PS360 has major overlap, they don't compliment each other well, so I think you are right htat the arguemtn is invalid. Even the hardcore w/ Ps360 plus have a Wii for multiplayer and the occasional mario zelda argument applies to probably 0.5%  of gamers.
