Has anyone here played the Madden NFL 09 demo?
I have played the demos for both the PS3 and 360 and have a few gripes about both.
First off, when will EA get off their ass and make Madden unique. I would swear this was last years game with better graphics.
Now on to the demos:
The PS3 demo felt slow and tight compared to the 360. The stick on the PS3 was also too sensitive to make any type of accurate passes. The 360 version was smooth, however, I noticed some frame rate discrepencies when passing. At certain times when passing it seemed that the frame rate would speed up and the game was on fast forward. I hope these are both minor glitches but then again the game gets released in 9 days so I doubt it. I hope the PS3 slowness was only on the demo. If it isn't this could be last year all over again. Where the PS3 version ran at 30 fps while the 360 version ran at 60 fps.
Has anyone else played both? Any theories as to why the PS3 version is slow?
