Once again the 360 version is better.

PS3

Soul Calibur IV = 1280x720 (no AA), 1280x576 in 1080p mode

XBOX 360

Soul Calibur IV = 1365x960 (no AA, software scaled to 720p)

When is the time Sony will stop telling lies and admit the 360 is the better console.

Ok Ghast, Ill help you out a bit with some definitions

1280 by 720 is refered to as 720 (presumably 720p)

1280 by 576 is refered to as 576 (presumably 576i)

Already we've spotted a problem in your post. If it's running in 576i, it's not running in 1080p

Have we learnt something yet?

Maybe another demonstration of mathematics

1365 by 960 would be refered to as 960 p/i Why indeed would the makers of the game choose to 'upscale' a game that natively runs in 960 to 720.

Do you see that first part of the word upscaling. 'Up' implies an increase of some description. To find the increase we subtract one number from another.

720 - 960 = -240

Well done, you've just invented downscaling

Learn something before you type

Around the Network

Gameplay is more important then resolution, and gameplay appears pretty much equal between both. Has anyone played online with both 360 and PS3? That would be the only place where I would think you might see some significant differences...

actually reviewers say the ps3 version is better.. both in playability and graphics..

i lol at your troll topic .. lol i tell ya!

Check out my game about moles ^

First off, the games move in such fast motion that you will never notice such a small difference. Not only that, but does a slight (and I mean slight) graphical difference really say which version is superior? Hell, for that matter, the Gamecube version of Resident Evil 4 would be superior to the PS2 version on the merit of having better graphics, despite the PS2 version having extra content. Which do you think most people prefer?

And if you really trust Gametrailers for unbiased PS3 vs. 360 comparisons, then you're very, very gullible.

Plus, the thread creator is a troll. How should I deal with him? Let's see.
