Throw shit at it! I just started it on Friday. It took me like 20 mins to kill the first one. The second one was a pain in the ass because he followed me down a hallway and started shooting me with a shotgun. I couldn't get around him. I got lucky he glitched behind a box.

You don't get any Adam if you distract it >_<. The machine gun works pretty well on them if they can't get close to you.
electric buck works well, see if you can get him in a puddle. youll probably run out ...so normal shells or armor piercing rounds with another weapon. stay back and work on jumping out of the way when he charges.
the bouncer is easier than the rosie cause it cant shoot.

until I got the crossbow (electic trip wire w00t!) I usually died 1-3 times against big daddies.
