Yes, I thought it was a precursor to an all out attack, nuclear, WW3, martial law, etc. I was in the 7th grade so it had a profound impact on my political beliefs. I believe that 9/11 is the tip of the iceberg compared to what extremists are capable of, dirty bombs, nuclear attacks, etc. We are still naive here in the US and they will kick us in the balls one day when we least expect it--that's what I'm afraid of.
