the likes of EA Sony Nintendo SquareEnix must be at the top of the list ?

any one got a list ? maybe a top ten.

Most games published:

EA.

Most sales:

Nintendo.

Biggest is EA. Sales wise, it is Nintendo.

I, too, would like to see a list.  

It really depends on how you measure ...

Gamesales, profit, revenue, number of games developed, staff, etc. can all be used to justify a list with every list favouring a different collection of companies.

EA and Nintendo are close to the top in all lists ...

Yeah, I gues it depends on the criteria. EA has a lot of them covered, however.

I guess the list of publishing games would be:

1) EA.

2) Ubisoft.

3) Nintendo.

4) Activision.

And then u get a bunch of med-large devs on which it depends on the date of games launching in what pos their in

Devs like: Take2, SQ-E, Midway, Sony,

I ment their ability to make games, how many dev studios they got under their belt.

 EA by a substantial marign, I believe. 

Yeah, I'd go with EA here, too...... We're not talking about quality are we?  ;)

Haha. Man, EA may be Canadian, but they sure produce like Americans: tons of games, with almost no apparent quality control. Who cares about quality when you can pump the market full of cheap crap?

EA does produce some good games, but in most cases it's because the developers are an owned subsidiary or they just got plain lucky. I mean, if you're producing 100 games a year, one of them is bound to be good just by chance, right? :p
