each system has exclusives... which is what square wants.

Yeah but, Sony does not seem to have any major exclusives left from the SE camp I know of. That seems a bit strange indeed.

I think it's because M$ gives better financial support, or supports in programming by supplying people, who knows...

i know...its disgusting that sony only gets an insignificant thing like a final fantasy exclusive.  Unlike IU which everyone knows and loves and will definately sell several million copies.

Lol!

How about SO4 then? My cousin's gonna be missing out on this if they don't multi-plat this.

Missed the news much? FF is no longer exclusive, not in the Egnlish speaking territories anyway. I do agree that IU is kinda high risk, especially with a title like that...

I think he's talking about Versus.  And he did ignore SO4.  I'd say Versus (assuming it stays exclusive) is bigger than IU and SO4, though, from a sales perspective.  From a gaming perspective, however, that's entirely subjective, and the only reason it could stand up to two whole other games is because it's being made by the KH/TWEWY team.

Perhaps they can't justify the extra cost and time it will take to port to the PS3 - the programmers may also be inexperienced with the PS3's hardware meaning developers will need to be pulled from other projects. This all leads to delays and that's not what anyone particularly wants.

My theory?

Tri-Ace needed funding to get out of Namco's ball-vice... MS offered them a deal for funding projects but MS would get the rights to some of the properties.

Erm, no one from tri-Ace has been directly involved with Namco since 1994.

On topic: The only game Sony fanboys should be whining about is Star Ocean 4, which is probably timed exclusive.

Your right, I'm wrong... for some reason I was thinking most of their games were Namco published.

I should have gone with SE ball vice.

I would cite regulation, but I know you will simply ignore it.

Its only technically exclusive, no agreements made or anything.   square still needs to make up their mind, so i cant really include it as an actual exclusive yet.

You're probably thinking of tri-Crescendo. Most (or all? I can't remember...) of their games are published by Namco.

tri-Crescendo and tri-Ace sometimes work together on projects as well, such as Baiten Kaitos.

SE makes the best rpgs and sony as well as microsoft need them to boost sales and to overwhelm their opponents i want the two games to be released on both platforms. This would help them take a look as what might happen with Final FantasyXIII
