Forums - Gaming - Wiimote VS sixaxis Comparison at nintendowiifanboy

Pointing with a two handed device is easy - in the arcade i allways use a 2 handed pistol grip for virtua cop it's steady and fast.
For moving targets you dont use the sights but aim instinctively, hold with 2 hands and align target and pointer (pistol ?) with both eyes - The two handled sixaxis would work fine it even provides a seperate grip for both hands rather than having to overlap them both on one handle. !

FYI For a real pistol never aim or point by bending the wrist as some wiimote users do this is lazy and inaccurate - the recoil will hurt and in addition cause a miss on the 2nd shot. You aim with locked wrists and use arm and body action to point.

The pointer application mentioned in the article referenced is not like this - in the pong game
the author is not pointing the controller directly at the screen. Gyro pointing with sixaxis or the motion plus wiimote thing is like using a mouse but in the air rather than on a pad (and of course it is able to do all 6 axis in theory - up down , left right , forward backwards , yaw, pitch and roll.

I Think the only way anyone can get to see the full capability of the sixaxis controller is by hooking it up to a PC like the author of the article has done on the weekend.
Sony will never figure it out they have had 2 years so far done almost nothing.
