I thought the advantage of card games was that you didn't need fancy electronics to play it, you could just take it out and play it anywhere. This game kinda defeats the purpose of card games to me.

Although this definitely has a lot of potential, I hope that Sony don't just make it a card game with a few animations and instead makes something different with the game. By the description alacrist gave, it seems to just be a regular card game with a few animations and a couple of gestures.

Wrong ,it has a full 3D environment and stunning graphics .Maybe someone here can link for you some pics of the game in action .

It looks great, but all current magic &Yu-gi-oh cards can't be used with it,making it limited in card pool, if they try to develop a title of these card games. My guess is that the game comes with a special deck of some sorts? Or you have to buy them in booster packs? If that's the case it could be more expensive than Rock Band.

You didn't even read my bloody post did you? I KNOW it has a "full 3D environment and stunning graphics". I can see that in the damn picture. You say"Wrong" but you don't actuallyeven say anything contrary to what I said.

I don't CARE about stunning graphics. Does the game play any different to a standard card game? By Alacrist's description, it sounds like a card game with some pretty 3D gimmick. If you say something other than "full 3D environment and stunning graphics" then cool. I would love this game to be more. But tell me how it's different.

Way to rain on the parade.

Thanks to Blacksaber for the sig!

What I am saying is that the image of the gif isnt representative of the gameplay .Those arent the ingame graphics but just a demostration .Just to see some 3 ingame pics

You buy booster packs yes. If you do it will be expensive but everyone knows buying a lot of extra cards for card games is always expensive.

I was actually going from what alacrist said, rather than just the gif. And your link confirms my suspicions. It just seems to be a standard card game with pretty 3D graphics. It's pretty cool but I would love to see something more done with it. Something to really make it worth the $700 + extra cards it would cost.

Only the most rabid Nintendo fanboys would dare to try and belittle something as innovative as this.
