Okay, well with the reduced price on the 20gb and the netflix announcement I finally decided and went with the 360.  Picked it up on Monday along with a pair of cheap used games just to try it out.  Now I am going over and trying to decide what games are good and have a few questions as to peoples opinions.

Which strategy games on the 360 are best?  Which is better C&C, Universe at War, or Supreme Commander or are none of them worth playing?  If you wanted an RPG on the system besides Oblivion which do you think is best.  Is Scene-it any good as a party game or is it a loser next to Wii Sport and Carnival Games?

I'd wait for Halo Wars. Any other RTS can be done on a PC with better results. I recommend some of the oldies: Condemned Criminal Origin, Crackdown, Oblivion, Dead Rising. And, of course, Gears is still kicking some serious @ss.

Scene-It is fun but I would wait for the next one. Online play wasn't in the first one and was a major omission.

I love the 360 and there is tonnes of stuff. But who buys a console without knowing about it first?

Must picks: Condemned, Saints Row, Kameo. Those games were one of the first games available on Xbox 360 and are worth your money especially since they probably are pretty cheap now;.

Best RPG: Eternal Sonata.

For Real Time Strategy games, I prefer Lord of the Rings: Battle for Middle Earth over all others available on the X360. However, Halo Wars and World In Conflict both look excellent for upcoming RTS on X360.

It depends on the kind of RPG you want. If you don't want Oblivion, go with Mass Effect if you like Western-Styled RPGs. Also, if you want a real cheap-o to get, Two Worlds is OK if you can find it for $20 (and I am sure you can).

Thanks for the responses. I am already planning on getting Oblivion, just happened the Gamestop I stopped at did not have the Game of the Year Edition used so I do not have it yet. I have Kameo and Dead Rising now. I will take a look at these recommendation and try and find another gem when I finish these, with one of them being Oblivion, Halo Wars may be out by then, and if not you have given me some good leads. Thanks again.

Coomand and Conquer 3 is good on 360. I have it.

Also RPG wise Too Human is out soon, it's very much a action orientated Diablo 2. And Mass Effect is amazing!!!

JRPG wise do NOT miss Lost Odyssey or Eternal Sonata.

Dead Rising and Gears of War should also start you off nicely.

Dont forget Ninja Gaiden 2 it's awesome.

Tom Clancy's EndWar should be out this fall ( i think) and looks interesting. you will need a headset though as they are using voice commands.
