@Majin-Tenshinhan - I'm not really into RPGs. I was never a fan of suddenly being trusted into battle and the whole turn based thing was boring to me. My fav game is Zelda so if there are any clones, I love to check them out.

OK, did you play Half Life 2?
If you did, it would make justice to say that "it's a compilation of old games"
But, if you didn't, dude, what can I say...
A recap
Half Life 2 is STILL the best FPS out there and the Orange Box version pawns the vast majority of the so called "next gen" FPS titles (Blacksite, Jericho, Timeshift, Resistance etc etc etc) graphics wise. Cause gameplay and story wise, it is a million light years ahead. Play it if you didn't.
Episode 1. A descent 4-5 hour (or 8 hour if you hunt down the achievements) expansion pack. Just in the whereabouts of City 17.
Episode 2. A great expansion pack with really next gen visuals from an old gen engine. Now, that's impressive! 7-8 hours of the best quality FPS experience. And it's new content.
Team Fortress 2: Still, one of the funniest and most enjoyable multis out there. And it's new too.
Portal: 3-4 hours of pure fun. And if you mess with the medals and the achievements...The cake is a lie, the cake is a lie, the cake is a lie, the cake is a lie...

Do yourself a favor, and buy this game....

Mainly shooters on that list. X360 is the shooter console.

OK thats just completely irrelevant to anything else said in the thread. So what if 360 is a shooter console? Obviously if the OP chose those games then he is a fan of shooters and so should be happy about the 360 having a large variety of shooters.

 

 

Rock On is one of the approved trolls/sockpuppets here at vgchartz. You'll find him derailing threads to promote sony defense force memes, just like "shooter box", "10 year lifecycle", etc. His own nickname is a sony meme as well "2008 year of the ps3", a meme that has been approved by the marketing & pr team at sony (Jack Tretton used it at the last E3 conference).

Condemned 2 was absolutely amazing. Condemned 1, not so much, but get Condemned 2. if you hurry they may still be having that sasle at gamestop where you can get it for $30 instead of $60.



GOTY Contestants this year: Dead Space 2, Dark Souls, Tales of Graces f. Everything else can suck it.
