aside from mgs4, folklore and gta4, all used.

50/50. If I can find it used, I go used. If not, I go new. I'm going to get what I want, though.

I buy used whenever possible.

New for sure but I buy used sometimes.

New if I can help it. I hate buying Used games, because people don't take care of them. I have bought used games before though when they are like 8 years old and I really don't have another option.

I usually purchase new games instead of used, at least when it comes to new releases (or current releases I haven't played). As others have said, used copies generally aren't taken care of, and the developer that made the game doesn't see one red cent from the sale of that game. And chances are if I'm buying something, I like the game and want to support the developer that made it.

I try only to buy used when gamestop or somewhere else has a sale or deal going on. Otherwise I always try to stick to new.

about 30% new 70% used.

I even bought an atari 2600 game new once about 10 years back at a Big Lots store for a buck or two. It's called solaris and is one of the best 2600 games ever.

New b/c I want to support the devs, not Gamestop. The $5 difference isn't enough to sway me. Of course, if I can only find a used copy, I'll get it.

My Top 5:

Shadow of the Colossus, Metal Gear Solid 3, Shenmue, Skies of Arcadia, Chrono Trigger

My 2 nex-gen systems: PS3 and Wii

Prediction Aug '08: We see the PSP2 released fall '09. Graphically, it's basically the same as the current system. UMD drive ditched and replaced by 4-8gb on board flash memory. Other upgrades: 2nd analog nub, touchscreen, blutooth, motion sensor. Design: Flip-style or slider. Size: Think Iphone. Cost: $199. Will be profitable on day 1.

Used because most places will offer a warrenty on them.
