Forums - Microsoft - Any oldschool Goldeneye substitutes for 360?

Goldeneye was one of my favorite N64 games.  I was wonder if there are any good 4 player split screen FPS games on 360 I can look into.  Also, if anyone can recommend some on the Wii that would be great!  I posted the same topic on the Nintendo forum (hope that's ok) for Wii recommendations.

Umm... is this a trick question?

Halo 3

We don't provide the 'easy to program for' console that they [developers] want, because 'easy to program for' means that anybody will be able to take advantage of pretty much what the hardware can do, so the question is what do you do for the rest of the nine and half years? It's a learning process. - SCEI president Kaz Hirai

It's a virus where you buy it and you play it with your friends and they're like, "Oh my God that's so cool, I'm gonna go buy it." So you stop playing it after two months, but they buy it and they stop playing it after two months but they've showed it to someone else who then go out and buy it and so on. Everyone I know bought one and nobody turns it on. - Epic Games president Mike Capps

We have a real culture of thrift. The goal that I had in bringing a lot of the packaged goods folks into Activision about 10 years ago was to take all the fun out of making video games. - Activision CEO Bobby Kotick

Sorry, I'm a Nintendo fan so I'm not very familiar with 360 titles

You could go with the Goldeneye sequel - Perfect Dark Zero.

Halo 3 is for the most part better, but if you want classic Goldeneye, go with PD0. And it's $20 virtually everywhere you go.

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.

Halo 3.

Number 1 played xbox live game after almost a year...there is a reason for that.

My focus is on local multi player so my friends and I can slaughter each other (so many good memories). I loved Perfect Dark so I'm definitely going to check Zero out.

You're really not familiar with Halo 3?  The first two games in the series were kind of big, and this most recent one has already sold over 8 million.

Halos 1, 2, and 3 all have local multiplayer.

I know what Halo is but I've never played any of them.  I've heard that it's the Goldeneye for xBox.  But like I said, I'm not familiar with 360 titles so I'm not sure if it's still the game to get (3 that is) or if there are better ones, etc.
