i just watched the teaser for the movie. along with Dark Knight Returns, this is the graphic novel i was looking forward to the most to get the big screen treatment. but having watched 300(based on a relatively weak novel anyways) , i really doubt that the same director has the talent or the range to approach such a masterpiece.in short, im afraid hes going to screw it up
furthermore, the on-screen talent isnt too hot either, they needed an ensemble cast for this one. all the characters in the novel are so well-written. im especially apprehensive about the role of rorschach(but i dont think theres any actor out there right now who can pull off this character).
so holler if you have the same fears, or some new ones.
"The accumulated filth of all their sex and murders will foam up about their waist and all the whores and politicians will look up and shout "Save us!"...
