Here is an interesting read from GameFAQs about the top ten video game myths. I was not aware of some of the myths listed, but a few of them I remember. I especially remember the Luigi in Mario 64 myth and the Mew in Pokemon Red/Blue myth. So, what do you think?

Well Mew could be acquired using a gameshark, and I saw a video (not sure if it was fake) of one being captured legitimately.

Aw, no mention of the nude code for Mortal Kombat? I remember that being pretty popular when that came out. Of course in retrospect, why anyone would want to see that is beyond me, but you know how the kids were before the internet porn revolution.

I personally like the 'be dark link' rumour from Ocarina of time.

'get a cow in your house, get milk from it, play the song of storms 3 times and dark link will appear!'

You CAN'T forget about Bill's Garden in Pokemon Red/Blue. Or A + B + Down.

The Shen Long in street fighter was good too

Yeah the world of Red/Blue was full of rumors. Some were actually true, like Missingno being catchable, but I'm embarrassed that I actually beat the Elite Four 150 times in order to try to get my own gym.
