I would laugh too if my company was the biggest thing for MS and knowing that they will pay out the a$$ for my product.

Never thought of it this way. Microsoft had the best E3 without laying so much a fingure on a shooter Halo game.

So much for fanboys who say Halo is the only reason a 360 sells.



GOTY Contestants this year: Dead Space 2, Dark Souls, Tales of Graces f. Everything else can suck it.

I have heard Halo Wars is an RTS a while back.  But if we don't know what Bungie was going to show, who's to say what is it?  Besides, maybe I'm not up to snuff on Halo since I'm not a fan of the series.  Nothing wrong with that.

Because Microsoft retained the rights to Halo, right?  If that were the case, then it would not be probable that the Bungie game would be an RTS for the sake of variety and to avoid competition with it.  Thanks for being understanding.

Saving the Halo unveil for another gaming expo later on in the year. That is what I believe is the reason behind the last minute cancellation.

Microsoft press conference was pretty bad (except for FFXIII). It's just that their competitor's sucked much much more.

 Their press conference was not pretty bad. They showed us a myriad of exlcusive games that will be releasing this year, showed us some kick-ass cross-platform games, and dropped an a-bomb on us with the FFXIII announcement. What more could you want from their press conference?
