I'll allow it. Just quote this post so all the other mods know I did. |
Well, it isn't even a good metaphor. It is more of a comparison. Disregarding the metaphor, I think that in all actions that people do we do it to help or harm. But for every person we help, there is someone we harm. And for someone we harm, we help someone. For the thing you are doing to help someone, there is someone with opposite beliefs who might get offended. And vice versa.
So to be a hero in your standards, you must have the ability to please every person. But that is not possible since we all are different with different beliefs, morals, values, personalities, etc. And to be a villian, it is the same thing. One theoretical way though is to go to each individual person and do something to support or oppose their beliefs, morals, values, personalities, etc. But I doubt that is even possible since your actions will still be deemed inappropriate by some.
I hope that explains why there is no pure hero or pure villian.

true perfection has to be imperfect - as perfection is beyond us, a hero cannot be perfect whilst they are human
Damn you ssj, you got me thinking about this.
In the back of my mind I am so sure of what I consider "good" and "evil, bad" But at the same time, I can't be sure of a pure hero or pure villain because someone in the world will disagree, and therefore, it wouldn't be a hero or villain.
And that's the only thing I need is *this*. I don't need this or this. Just this PS4... And this gaming PC. - The PS4 and the Gaming PC and that's all I need... And this Xbox 360. - The PS4, the Gaming PC, and the Xbox 360, and that's all I need... And these PS3's. - The PS4, and these PS3's, and the Gaming PC, and the Xbox 360... And this Nintendo DS. - The PS4, this Xbox 360, and the Gaming PC, and the PS3's, and that's all *I* need. And that's *all* I need too. I don't need one other thing, not one... I need this. - The Gaming PC and PS4, and Xbox 360, and thePS3's . Well what are you looking at? What do you think I'm some kind of a jerk or something! - And this. That's all I need.
Obligatory dick measuring Gaming Laptop Specs: Sager NP8270-GTX: 17.3" FULL HD (1920X1080) LED Matte LC, nVIDIA GeForce GTX 780M, Intel Core i7-4700MQ, 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3, 750GB SATA II 3GB/s 7,200 RPM Hard Drive
But what would you define a hero as?
Is a hero someone who does good deeds that are based on his morals or societies views?
The same goes for a villian.

Create, begin, found, establish, set up, initiate, institute, launch, pioneer, inaugurate, birth, foundation, onset, commence, dawn, opening, outset, inception.
Those are the synonyms for start. Any ideas?
