I love Wipeout. The PSX versions are some of my favorite all time games.

Isn't this a PSN remake of the orignal Wipeout? If so, they must have sped it up a lot, as F-Zero for GC was much faster than any Wipeout game (perhaps too fast).

I think I own every console version of both games. Hope they make it work.

So we have two things that cause epilepsy in Japanese: Pokemon and WipeoutHD.

Hmmm.

Is this good or bad news? Is pikachu driving one of the ships?

Trying to convince me the Wii is a real adult game machine 'if you play it right' is like trying to convince me Tofu tastes great 'if you just cook it right'

I played a WipEout on PS1... I might have thought it ok had I not already played F-Zero X and Star Wars Ep1 Pod racer.
WipEout was slow compared to those.

Sounds awesome. Purely a marketing ploy though, tryin to out do F Zero's speed competition. The music on Wipeout kicks fukn ass, much better than F zero.
