All 360 has to do is narrow the gap with the PS3 and it will take PS3 many years to overtake it worldwide. As it is now at a 50,000 difference per week it will take it around 22 months to catch the 360.

:/ Dude, we're PS3 fans...none of us should be really saying that. Seriously, we've done the same thing. "ZOMG!! PS3 outsold Wii for one little week!"

 LOL! 22 months? Is that why in 7 months Ps3 went from a 7.8 mil behind to 4 mil behind? (Shipped vs Shipped here with all these adjustments and such I'm gonna go with shipped numbers)

Do the math.  At 50,000 a week it will take 22 months for it to make a difference of 4.5 million.  And I thought it only outsold the 360 by 1.4 million during the year.

I think its funny that last year the ps3 fanboys made a big deal when the ps3 outsold the 360 one week, and now its the 360 fanboys are making a dig deal. Man how times have change, so this is what it was like for 360 owners last year. Feels pretty good.

Yeah, outselling the 360 world wide will take a while if it happens at all. Anyway, comparing both console sales since launch, they both sell very similar to each other until the end of 2007. Then PS3 gets the boost and has sold ~14.5 million whereas the 360 sold ~10.5 million in the same point in it's life time. Even then, this generation will probably be over before the PS3 gets a really good heading over the 360. The PS3 and 360 have really cut it close this generation.
