Well keep in mind January data is going to be five weeks of data, so it wouldn't shock me if it's as high as he says. The Wii in January certainly sold every unit put on store shelved. I go back to that in Jan just over 400k Wii's were sold in Japan. It seems reasonably to say about the same were sold in the US.
