Home is bringing the match making capabilities of Xbox Live while also offering a Second Life like atmosphere to interact socially with other players. In addition to that, there will be Movies showing within Home eventually, trophy room (Achievements that you can see) and probably more mini games and such as a pass time.

I only see good things coming from home. I mean it's like you're telling me if I could have all these for free, I'd rather not because I don't think it's original enough or doesn't have enough in it.

There are patches you know, Home is already a lot more extensive than XBL is now and it will expand further with updates.

It's interesting that all some people see in Home is the second life aspect with an avatar you can customize.

will it have a friends "list" that lets me go to the same cyber-location as my friends??

Did you ignore the rest of the post? Or are you saying other people only see that? I mean it's like a virtual form of Xbox Live instead of menus and I prefer the more interactive version.

Thanks to Blacksaber for the sig!

No, that other people only seem to want to see that.

I don't like the headsets because then you often miss half the message. Lets say we are playing Team Fortress 2 and I want to tell my ally where to take the flag. If I type it out he gets the exact message I sent to him. over the mic he gets fuzzy areas. Weather that is because of a cheap microphone, bad installation, damage, or just because the user has a lisp or is 5 years old it's a problem. But you can argue that it's a matter of preference.

Cklmb I am saying you get all of these free as it is. over the internet. Wanna chat with your friends use and IM, wanna chat over your mic use the mic IM's have mic support. Wanna play flash games, you have thousands upon thousands of them online free. Classic ones, long ones, famous ones and all free. The bowling that I saw in that video could easily be replicated on the computer and probably has been. Want to watch trailers from upcoming games and movies? go to Gametrailers.com, youtube, google video. All free and far more extensive. Wanna meet new friends? play one of the thousands of video games that has online capabillities and make some friends. I can't name a single thing which the regular and very free internet doesn't do better than Home does, can you?

The matchmaking service is all I can think of that comes close, matter of opinion really.

before HOME comes out SONY needs to improve their applications on their Playstation Network. HOME looks interesting but it looks can of boring walking around all the time which i wish it improves their applications on their playstation network.

 Team Fortress 2???

Sorry Team Fortress 1. I was dreaming a little. I am a huge Half Life fan. I spent months drueling over the grav gun as Half Life 2 was delayed. Now the same thing is happening with TF2 Portal and Ep 2. What a wonderful package.
