Forums - Microsoft - Xbox Live Pick-Up Post

Lets start an uber-massive thread about XBL downloads. There's obviously a massive amount of content, and I was wondering what people pick up. Post both your demo content and pay-for content. I'm wondering if anyone else downloads movies, as well as other stuff.

My purchases:

Today's tentative purchases:

Band of Bugs (Full Game) - 800 MSP. Ressurection (Horrorfest movie) - 160 MSP.

Last Week:

Project Sylpheed, POTC3 - Demos

Castlevainia SOTN (Full Game) - 800 MSP.

Shivering Isles (Oblivion Ex.) - 2400 MSP.

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.

I've purchased only one game so far on XBLA the whole time I've had the 360 and it was Alien Hominid HD.

Demos, I download a lot of and usually remove them after playing through them or getting the actual game (or renting).

List of demos I can remember recently downloading:

Vampire Rain
Eternal Sonata
Project Sylpheed
DiRT
Forza Motorsport 2

I don't download the microtransaction add on bs. I did get the Shivering Isles expansion for Oblivion the day it came out.

I've only downloaded one movie ever and it was Nacho Libre. Renting movies is pretty overpriced (compared to Netflix).

Thanks to Blacksaber for the sig!

Shadowrun Demo!!

I bought GHII and Forza.. but instead of playing Forza2 when my fingers get tired playing guitar, I load up the demo.

It's multiplayer, only 1 map and 2 races (human and elves), I think I've been putting about 1-2 hours a day.. sometimes more when the gf is away

LOL so you're not buying the actual game ever?

Thanks to Blacksaber for the sig!

I played Sylpheed and Overlord (Demos) last night, both were very enjoyable...

The last purchase I made was Turtles...

Around the Network

i've downloaded about half to 2/3 of the full game demos on XBL. Faves so far were Forza 2, Top Spin 2, Dirt (kind of), NBA Live 07, and a handful of others.

On Arcade, I've downloaded almost all of the games and tried them. I've bought:

Assault Heroes. Try it -- it's awesome. Kind of like a modern day Ikari Warriors... It has great graphics, bosses are fun, and has a 2 player co-op same screen. The difficulty level can be set to "easy" for co-op with the casual gamer in the household...

Outpost Kaloki. Kind of a sim-city lite.

Band of Bugs. Hard to say what to compare to. Sort of an RTS lite.

Boom Boom Rocket. Mindless sound and graphics.

I hate trolls.
