'twas my 2nd choice, but I removed it due to it not being a clear sequel...

Yeah, none of my games are really clear sequels (outside of RE4 and kind of CC)

But neither is Super Mario Bros if you think about it. SM3 is the sequel to SM2 and it has the same characters, but it's not like the storylines are intertwined or anything.

Oh wow let me redo my list, I forgot all about Suikoden. I realize I kind of have a double-standard here, because I'm allowing games like DC2 and SO:SS, but not counting Final Fantasy.

technically it's the 3rd game in the series, because Koudelka for PS1 is considered the first game. (although the connections are not as prominent)

It was never confirmed to be a sequel (Shadow hearts 1 that is) i believe, made by a different company but there are indeed some connections.

can i borrow your so:ss when your done... 've been looking for ages and is really expensive on ebay
