Design is very important.

To say it simply : Home avatars and Xbox360 avatars have crappy design.
Home avatars look too realistic while Xbox360 avatars look uninspired.

But, there is a solution, for Sony at least, introduce the LBP Rag Doll directly in Home !

It will be insane if they allowed us to "play" our favorite LBP Rag Doll in Home.

It could also be an option for any game released on PS3 : 3-5 character models will come with each PS3 game (with more or less customization) and we would be able to use them in Home.

Imagine, after creating ur own Soul Calibur character, you could use it directly in Home !

(Note : I m not a big fan of Home but, at least, improving the design to make it less classic would help a lot)

It would certainly make Home more appealing, and much more interesting to explore

That would be great, but think about it, it would delay Home even further which could take away the little bit of hype, and interest that it still has.

i had the thought about LBP+home yesterday....but i came to the conclusion it would require a redesign of Home as the character would be out of place with his environment.
a Home environment designed around the character would probably work well.
