Forums - Sony - The Metal Gear Online Horror Continues. . .

Snipers can be annoying, but isn't that usually the case in many games? I know I try to be the biggest bastard I can be in order to make the enemy suffer as a Sniper in TF2, lol.

If you're not lagging and the game your in is smooth, it can be pretty darn fun. However, you have to get used to the controls, pacing, and how it generally plays.

Around the Network

For the most part I have had a good experience with MGO, but what idiot decided to not use PSN.  You'd think after the disaster of the MGO beta they would have realized it would be easier just to use PSN.  I'd probably actually buy the Gene Pack if it was on the PS store.

well i love mgo,the login really doesnt bother me,i auto login...and well,a monkey could figure out how to sign up and it takes like what...5 minutes...but as far as the update goes...its annoying

It's more of an inconvenience really to have your PSN account (being a good way to play your games online) and then have to make a whole new KonamiID and GameID just to be able to play Metal Gear Online. I don't think they're offering anything for MGO other than the MGO store to try and hook you into buying a $7 character slot or expansion pack.

At least with MyResistance, (I believe) you had stats and forum access on their website. Not to mention the fact that the Resistance map packs are available from the PS Store.

I also haven't gotten the bitter taste of trying to register my KonamiID and GameID (and it taking 2 days and like 20-30 tries before it worked) out of my mouth.

As i did with COD4, im leaving the online experience until the initial birthing problems have died down...

I hope my 360 doesn't RRoD
