I wouldn't expect much. It's still a B-movie, it's just that Casper Van Dien's(Johnny Rico) 15 minutes of fame are up and now he's on the same level that this franchise is.

Starship troopers was totally awesome it has won several awards -
The 2nd movie was just a low budget production (1/10 of the budget of the first) but still worth a watch.
Number 3 will be better than the 2nd- it has a decent budget but nothing can top the original starship troopers i think.
