Blasphemy! That will be exlusive for Halo: Metroid Edition.

I don't care what you say but on my XBlock 9000, Halo 69 is totally sweet. Arby N the Chief get it on. Totally badass. I'm surprised ya'll haven't played it yet.
Hype = Win

But in Halo 9 the Master Chief goes back in time, like the terminator to change the future. But I hate all that time travel crap, its just an excuse to remake Halos 1-8 and make even more money out of simple rehashes! How can anyone like Time travel in games? They do it enough in Star trek to make me sick... At least Kirk has the decency to mostly keep out of the time-space continueum.

You heard wrong! You will have Halo 1-8 in one game for the price of one, and the best is that all will be in 1080p! Nothing can surpass that!
Having grown up in the 80's with zx81/Spectrum/Commodore it's pretty easy not to get sucked in by the spin/hype these blockbuster games get saddled with nowadays...There just weren't enough publications to generate the hype back then so you had to go with your gut instincts a lot of the time...with sometimes painful results...I keep my eye on games i know i'll enjoy, ignore the hype and go with the gut...
Playing: Borderlands(great co-op,HUGE amount of content),Too Human(better late than never lol),Saints Row 3(Penetrator ftw),Minecraft 360,Harry Potter Lego.
Patiently waiting for: Tomb Raider, Borderlands 2
Oh yes, that happens to me all the time. First time I played through TP it felt kinda meh because I was expecting so much. Then I went back and played through1 again, and I realized "holy @#$% this game IS awesome!".
Same kind of thing happened with SSBB, I was disappointed at first then began to love the game.
Part of the reason I like mario Kart wii so much is that I ignored everything about it up to the release date.
In the future I'm planning on doing the same with other games.
