who is the greatest entertainer based on their music achievements:

My opinion is michael jackson his music is so good and his music videos are so entertaining i enjoy beat it, billie jean and thriller, according to guiness world records he is the most succesful entertainer of all time, selling 750 millions records, who do you think is the greatest music act?? give me your thoughts??

The Beatles. For MJ and Elvis a lot of the music credit has to be given to their producers, songwriters and other musicians. Not to say that the Beatles didn't have help, but they were talented musicians who could actually play instruments and songwrite.

Plus the Beatles members didn't have the personality defects of the other guys.

Alice Cooper. Many people look at him for his Metal works, but you don't fully know him until you listen to "Only Women Bleed," "I Never Cry," "Might As Well Be On Mars," "Clones (We're All)," "You And Me, or "Under My Wheels."

It's certainly not Lionel Richie. I just skipped one of his awful songs on LastFM just to hear Marvin Gaye's "What's Happening Brother" as next random soul song. Ah Marvin, you were the man.
