The Ides of March seem like a good time for the GOW series but that would mean it only took Sony 2 years to make a PS3 GOW. That seems way too short a dev time. 

The dc online game. If you look at there showcase the only 2 games that were talked about on stage that had any face time were little big planet(loved there use of that game) along with R2(face time being played). The other 2 games that had face time wont be out till later 2009 or even beyond, that was my point. The games that ms had face time with 90% were going to be out this year, the only one being RE5.

 The problem is perception. Both Microsoft and Sony showed games that are argubly boring/crappy. For example, I thought that flower and Buzz and alot of other PS3 games looked bad, while you listed them. On the other hand, Infintie Undiscovery, BK, Viva Pinata and Last Remnant looked good, yet you failed to list those as Microsft games. I think we both agree that your at the movies and Lips looked bad :)

For non arcade fall 2008 games though, I think Microsoft won hands down. PS3 had SOCOM, Resistance 2, LBP, and some others like NCAA fottball 2009 that I cannot remember. PSP had Patapon 2, LocoRoco 2, Star Ocean First departure, Resistance, and some 2009 stuff. 360 had BK, Viva, Fable 2, Gears 2, Infinite Undiscovery, Last Remenant, Fallout 3.

I am just given reasons why people MIGHT think that ms showed more games that are coming out sooner. I am not saying who is right or who is wrong just why some people might see things one way that is all.

 GoW3 developers are off helping GG with KZ2 they are far along if they are doing that. And just because a game came out then doesn't mean it was finished then. It could have been finished before and waiting to be shipped. Or they could have had 2 teams. Or the pre production teams could have jump straight to GoW3 after they did their job while GoW2 was being developed then after the next stage of development was done for GoW2 they already had stuff to work on from the guys who started early. Ect

Sony showed the getaway way back in 2005 and then cancelled it 3 years later in 2008...... thats hardly keeping your promises is it.... im convinced to this day that sony had no intention of releasing the getaway and only showed that tech demo to sucker people in to buying in to the ps3..... some fools will have looked at that tech demo and thought..... "wow, i must get a ps3, this looks amazing" and now the game is cancelled along with 8 days........ so i agree fully, sony are full of empty promises and lies..... and what about HOME? its been coming out FOREVER lol..... how people can still beleive one word that comes out of sonys mouth is beyond me....!!!!!!!!!

Sony doesn't have a lot of stuff coming out this year that they haven't talked to hell about.  PS3 fanboys (the blind ones, anyway) will just keep talking about R2 and LBP as if they're the messiah.  The problem with the PS3 is that it still doesn't have many games coming out.  LBP looks like it could be interesting, but R2 is just another shooter.

A week ago PS3 fanboys were talking about how Final Fantasy 13 was going to sell hardware beyond belief because it was the biggest PS3 exclusive.  It never even was an exclusive, and now it's coming out for the 360.  The thing is, Sony performed badly at E3 and only rationalizations can cover that.

call it what you want LOL MATURE..... the bottom line is the getaway and 8 days were cancelled LONG after they were announced.... thats how sony create hype..... EMPTY PROMISES..... the problem for sony is that people are starting to see right through them and their FALSE announcments.... and the late delivery of products they promised long before they were finally delivered
