Step 1 - shoot Mugabe
Step 2 - Give farms back to farmers
Step 3 - Tell war veterans to f**k off
Step 4 - create new and fair democratic government
Step 5 - complete economic reform

how hard can it be??? oh, that hard.

1. Agree.

2. Kinda will work but you need to educate the workers. The white farmers were the ones who knew how to do everything and despite all of mugabe's flaws zimbabwe wouldn't want white people back in control anymore. He still uses the wrongs of the UK to keep control of a good portion of the people, they're afraid the UK will come in and take over.

Likely the UN would need to send farming experts perferably non white ones. Which would mean the UN would have to do something! Likely they'll need money too.

3. You can't do that. If you do that you end up with Iraq... but worse beacuse Sadam Hussein was MUCH more hated then Mugabe is... Mugabe actually has some legitiamite followers still. You need to seperate the good veterans from the bad and the really bad. Keep the good in power, bribe the bad... and leave the really bad isolated.

4. It's democracy is fair right now... it's just it's ruler isn't. Once you remove the dicatatorship, it would likely be fine so long as you had good people in control of the army.

5. True enough, though really all they need to do is focus on making their country self reliant. If they can get their food production levels back to good levels within the next 5 years they'll be great.

Food is becoming more and more expensive and will be expensive thanks to china paving over farmland for industry, the price of oil and western countries wasteful Ethanol policies. (The EU likes to blame Brazil's ethanol policy alone, but that's because brazil doesn't have strong EU presense like the EU and US.)

A man who can fish, will never go hungry.
