There are rumors that games like Star Ocean 4, and Tales of Vesperia(both 360 exclusives) will also head way to the ps3.

Now again while the 360 is a very good platform to get for Jrpgs, I think that other platformers are also good too, and it can't be argued that the 360 is the automatic winner of JRpgs when the gen isn't even close to over. Especially if you look and see how large the wii is growing, and is the only big home console in japan, and how much most if not all jrpgs thrive more on japan than anywhere else.

Also If I missed anything please tell me. I tried to keep out bad games, or games that are from unproven developers/publishers. Also I excluded Srpgs.

Oh and I always will think of the DS as the JRpg platform of this gen.

With the largest rpgs Pokemon,Dragon Quest, Final Fantasy Remakes and the most rpgs. It also has many high quality ones(Chrono trigger comes to mind, FFIV, DQ remakes).

While I agree that the other consoles have good RPGs as well, the 360 has the best RPG lineup in appealing to the market and most likely, quality.

I've never even heard of that game and I doubt I'll ever even know what it's about.

Plus, the 360 has Western RPGs as well.

Microsoft prides itself on investing in JRPG's that don't sell well on their platform.

Its a spiritual succesor to Odin Sphere, and made by the same people. Here is a trailer.

What? Of course 360 is the only viable platform for (j)rpg:s. Wii is getting only some neverheard games while 360 gets all the good ones. Legend of the river king... please. :D

Because sequels to million sellers on the  Gamecube btw are never heard of games. Also just because an rpg is never heard of doesn't mean it isn't good.

Also please go ahead and debunk all of those ds games.
