I knoe there have been threads of "what place will X system be in" so I'm not trying to perpetuate the same forum but, I just wanted to do some speculation.

1.  In the recent weeks PS3 has seen a surge in hardware sales and looks to be closing the gap somewhat to the XBOX360.  In Japan XBOX360 is pretty much dead, never truully lived.  so this thread is going to go like this;  Do you think it's possible for PS3 sales to close the gap in the coming 2 years let's say.

2.  Do you think maybe then multi-platform games released on both system will have about the same turnout, or do you believe that XBOX360 fans primarily play X games and PS3 owners are more likely to like Y games.

and 3. I can see that the news of FFXIII has hurt members of this community, but do you think this will impact the answers to questions 1 and 2 in the general public.

i see them being close....no huge gaps akin to Nintendo vs. Sony/Microsoft

PS3 and 360 sales will be very close at the end of 2010, i think both consoles and companys are gonna go all out this year and next to win against each other, i think PS3 sales will catch the 360s but im not sure when or if they will stay ahead.
