Well unless FF14(15? if 14 MMO.) gets announced for the Wii 2 or something exclusive.
Hey and Ogre Battle 64 ruled! But yeah... What was with the N64 and RPGs?

Now that was uncalled for. I can understand comparing the situation, but saying that this was deserved? Anybody who is glad that this is happening because of "payback" is a fanboy. |
so touchy.... anyway, great use of Scrubs!
And that's the only thing I need is *this*. I don't need this or this. Just this PS4... And this gaming PC. - The PS4 and the Gaming PC and that's all I need... And this Xbox 360. - The PS4, the Gaming PC, and the Xbox 360, and that's all I need... And these PS3's. - The PS4, and these PS3's, and the Gaming PC, and the Xbox 360... And this Nintendo DS. - The PS4, this Xbox 360, and the Gaming PC, and the PS3's, and that's all *I* need. And that's *all* I need too. I don't need one other thing, not one... I need this. - The Gaming PC and PS4, and Xbox 360, and thePS3's . Well what are you looking at? What do you think I'm some kind of a jerk or something! - And this. That's all I need.

That's what people say...
I'm sure the 100 million dollar marketing campaigns sony used to promote FF7 at the forefront didn't hurt the decision either.

True that might be, but any self proclaiming JRPG fan cant not not get a 360 now. There is a massive lineup of JRPG's on 360 that you cant ignore. The PS3 reminds me of the N64 or Xbox 1. Great games are far and few between and it costs a ton. Does everyone really think that FF fans will wait untill late 2009 to play their first decent JRPG? I think now it's out on the 360 they will pick one up and play through LO, BD, ES, TLR,TOV,IU,SO4 in the meantime until FF13 arives.

That's true... I mean the one arguement people made against the "360 is the RPG console" was FF13.
Pretty hard to argue now...

I still hate sony for killing the dreamcast so that news was YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!
=P

Urm NO, Square(and Enix with DragonQuest) were considering the N64 and Saturn for their games but were severely moneyhated by Sony, nice new office block Square got out of the deal for switching to PS1 too.

Not true. Sony did pay for marketing, which was because Final Fantasy VII FMV could sell systems (which it did).
I would cite regulation, but I know you will simply ignore it.

Ditto... I still remember getting all my gaming info each month from Diehard Gamefan, Game Informer, GamePro, etc. and I remember looking at the early 3-D character models for the supposed N64 version and thinking "Man this is gonna be the greatest thing ever!"...

Man these screen must have been amazing for their time...
Now compare this to FFVII and you know how more powerful N64 is.
This is not even close, because after FFVI Nintendo never had main FF game on their consoles.
