I think if Versus stays exclusive (lets put a big emphasis on IF at this point), it'll look at play better than 13 :( And that's kinda sad :/

I'm only disappointed that it sounds like the NA PS3 version is going to get held back because they're going make the Japanese PS3 version, THEN start working on the 360 version, and then release the game on both systems simultaneously. It also sounds like the game isn't going to hit these shores till 2010....

Prediction Aug '08: We see the PSP2 released fall '09. Graphically, it's basically the same as the current system. UMD drive ditched and replaced by 4-8gb on board flash memory. Other upgrades: 2nd analog nub, touchscreen, blutooth, motion sensor. Design: Flip-style or slider. Size: Think Iphone. Cost: $199. Will be profitable on day 1.
I'm still excited! But which version should I get? Oh well. Plenty of time to decide.

Don't you mean screw Japanese gamers since they will only get the PS3 version? I am just as excited as I was. Being multiplatform will not necessarily affect the quality of the game.

nope
Every game released on both becomes worse since instead of making unique versions they create a lower bar that both the 360 and PS3 can clear. That is why when you look at exclusives for the PS3 they look loads better then multiplatform games. The 360 just can't handle games like Uncharted or MGS4. Due to the 360's inadequacy most developers take the quick and easy route and limit the PS3 version to what the 360 can handle. Maybe that won't be the case and they'll just port the PS3 version to the 360 and leave the high quality PS3 version intact, but I'm not so sure.

Im still excited for FFXIII, because it most likely will be better on the PS3. Im just down because FF is no longer just a sony or nintendo thing. No matter what im going to laugh when my friends have to get up to change disk.
