Well gues i was wrong when I said FF13 wasn't going to win E3.

Guess i should of said it couldn't win E3 for Sony. Since this technically does count as a "Surprise unannounced game".

Not just smart for MS.

But very smart for Square-Enix.
This project is costing a fortune.
You need the largest userbase possible.

They probably just added 2-3 million on their sales for this game.

SMART MOVE.
Very sad for Sony though.

I don't know if MS paid for this. I think S-E may have thought twice.

Well, FFXIII to the Xbox the same day as to the PS3. No PS3 for me then. That settles it!

Interestingly, the MS slide said it's being released in NA and Europe with no mention of Japan. Sounds like Sony was only able to secure it for Japan, but no where else. Also, it still appears Versus XIII is still PS exclusive, but that could change closer to the release date.... like next E3

My 2 nex-gen systems: PS3 and Wii

Prediction Aug '08: We see the PSP2 released fall '09. Graphically, it's basically the same as the current system. UMD drive ditched and replaced by 4-8gb on board flash memory. Other upgrades: 2nd analog nub, touchscreen, blutooth, motion sensor. Design: Flip-style or slider. Size: Think Iphone. Cost: $199. Will be profitable on day 1.
