........from XBOX Live!!  I bought a Gold account, last year.  It ran out a couple of months ago.  Since I haven't really been playing online much lately, I haven't renewed.  My old credit card expired in April.  Since then, Microsoft has been sending me e-mails telling me I need to update my credit card info.  "Why should I?", I thought.  I'll update it when there's something I want to buy, or play online.  I don't want to fall for any automatic account renewal bullshit.

Today, I tried to go online to see what was new on the Marketplace.  My password wouldn't work.  I tried it again.  I got a message saying that my account is suspended due to problem with my payment options.  What?  I still have Microsoft Points!!  Anyhoo, I need to update my account information or I can't log into XBOX Live.

"Well d21lewis, update your info and leave us the fuck alone", you say.  "I CAN'T!!", I say.  In order for me to do that, I have to log into my account.  In order to log in, my credit card info needs to be updated.  So I just sit here, looking at my XBOX 360.  The XBOX looks back at me.  The battle of wills has begun.  Who will give up first?

Maybe this will cause you to realize the idea of paying for what is free on the Wii, PS3 and PC is a bad idea to begin with. Trade in the360 on ebay for something better.
