 It was clearly an ambitious game, although in video it looked to work well. but it was so open-ended I could see there having been many pitfalls. Perhaps many of the created worlds just failed after a while, and they needed to fix alot of things. but even so, I still think they would of had a grip on that to show it off as much as they have. Unless showing it off was a ploy by Wright to keep hype high enough to get permission for the project to stay alive. I'm thinking though it does have more to do with console editions and lower end machines maybe they are waiting to ready a massive launch for the game figuring it's one of the few ways to have a huge rollout
