I actually bought the game about two days before the church incident. All this controversy just made the game more interesting. Me and my brother had lots of fun killing ''thousands of people'' at the cathedral in the co-op mode.
It would also have to do with people anticipating a 'MAYBE' recall and changes made to the game... so they want the original version while they can.
If a game like Resistance gets recalled then seriously no games are safe. That game doesn't even try to even be controversial a tiny bit....
And the news still keeps saying killing thousands of people in a church, you can never overestimate how stupid news outlets are....
