I've been playing FoF for many months now and, while fun, some of the little problems I'm having are getting annoying.  The 2 biggest ones are as follows.  First, if there's really fast strumming parts (like in Dragonforce, etc.) the game won't register many of my strums as if it can't keep up.  Secondly, if I'm doing a HO/PO segment and I miss a note the game sometimes won't let me strum back in and keep going.  I have to wait until that section is done.  Again, almost as if the game can't keep up.  Many songs play just fine, but there are others that are simply unplayable for me.  Are there settings I'm missing that I can tweak with my RF mod or is my computer just too much of a wuss?

I used to just tolerate it, but now it really works on my nerves. I was gonna skip GH: Aerosmith and I downloaded all of the songs. It pissed me off, so I deleted them and bought the game. I'm considering buying the Rock Band disc and a guitar and deleting all of those too.

 It seemed to get a little better when I turned off the sound it makes when you make a mistake.  Maybe it was just wishful thinking and my imagination.

Which mod are you using? I'm using the latest Alarian mod. I can't speak as to the real fast strumming sections as i'm just starting hard so I haven't had trouble yet but I haven't encountered the HOPO problem.

Also are you using a guitar controller and which one?

For me its the Wii guitar.

I'm using the RF mod that makes it look like the older Guitar Hero games. I'm also using the PS3 Guitar Hero 3 guitar. Doing HO/PO in and of themselves are fine, but when the song is relatively fast, I can't strum back in after I make a mistake. On Guitar Hero for real, you can just strum back in without a problem.

That's strange. I'm using the PS3 RB guitar BTW. Try the fof forum. Maybe there's a known issue with the PS3 Les Paul or it could be your mod.

Or try downloading another mod and see if you have problems on that. There are multiple mods out there that can simulate RB/GH look if that's your concern.
