They talk a lot about E3, and what they expect to see from each of the big three:
MS
- More Gears stuff.
- Motion controller that possibly works with Banjo, Viva Pinata, Fast and the Furriest, and/or Lips (could include microphone, they theorize).
- Bungie's next project could be announced, probably in the Halo universe but not involving Master Chief.
- Say there will probably be three big Halo games coming soon: Halo Wars, Halo Chronicles, and Bungie's project.
- Say Alan Wake might be shown, since it's been two years since the last showing, but it probably won't (though I don't see why it wouldn't).
- They'll probably focus on games for the end of this year, just like they did with last year's E3.
Nintendo
- Say they really only have to announced Animal Crossing. Sales will stay insanely high regardless.
- Say Kid Icarus by Factor 5 will probably be announced.
- Said they may tease a Zelda, and that plus Kid Icarus will ease the fears of hardcore gamers and get fanboys excited as hell (I know I'll be excited :D).
- Say NSMB2 might show up, more Nintendogs, etc.
- Lot's of new third party support for the Wii. They say Mad World will own.
Sony
- God of War III teaser, which will possibly be a gameplay demonstration, but probably not.
- Probably Uncharted 2.
- Say Team ICO's next game will be announced either here or at TGS, and the only question is which one (something I've been saying for a while now).
- Possibly the new IP rumored to be from SCEE will show up.
- R&C: Quest for Booty will be shown, and it's a downloadable sequel.
- More info on LBP, WKC, etc.
- GT4 Mobile will resurface (I'm predicting a name change to GT5 Mobile, lol).
- Probably a bunch of 3rd party Japanese PSP games because of recent sales (possibly DMC).
- Some third party stuff (they say maybe a FFXIII trailer or an announcement from Kojima Productions - I personally don't think either will happen, though I do believe Tekken 6 will show up).
- Possibly a motion controller announcement.
They also covered S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Clear Skies and Killzone 2 on the show.
For Stalker, they mentioned that the new game has very impressive visuals, and much larger environments than it's predecessor. You also have much more freedom to interact with the various factions. They show of a lot of footage of the game, as well.
For Killzone 2, Shane actually took a tour of Guerrilla Games' studio in Amsterdam, where the devs showed him replicas of weapons, level design techniques, in-game vehicle models, and some mo-cap sessions. They showed how the use Google Earth to help them find interesting urban areas to use in their levels. Say levels are based off of a mix of locales ranging from Rome to Hong Kong, and they talked about how they're using the same mo-cap stuff used in Heavenly Sword. They showed new gameplay footage, including vehicle combat and part of a cutscene, the latter of which looked really awesome.
I usually don't post about stuff like this, but since this show was full of so much awesomeness, I figured I'd share it with you guys. :D
