yeah, won't be many sales from them. Some thousands of imports but not enough. What this does mean though is it will only become more interesting and controversial to Americans, perhaps boosting sales in our country.

i sitll think rockstar will jsut sell the game online through online retailers lol as a loop hole.

Uk'ers, Aussies and germans can just buy it from any other european country. I know for sure this game won't be banned in Norway, which means it won't be banned in Sweden or Denmark either

Aussie Wii's (to my knowledge) will NOT play European Wii titles - just "special" AU (Australia/NZ) titles. Its not just about PAL - its also a region lock.

A ban here, will mean its never manufactured - so we can't ever play it... (unless it still gets a release in NZ... go NZ!).

Nocturnal is helping companies get cheaper game ratings in Australia:

Wii code: 2263 4706 2910 1099

In other news, Ngamer Magazine gave the game a 92%

I'm a mod, come to me if there's mod'n to do.

Chrizum is the best thing to happen to the internet, Period.

Serves me right for challenging his sales predictions!

Bet with dsisister44: Red Steel 2 will sell 1 million within it's first 365 days of sales.

Get it from Holland, here it won't be banned. Dutch manual probably, don't know, never buy European games, but know from the past games from Holland had or only English or only Dutch manuals or combined language manuals with German, Frensch, Italian, Spanish, English and... of course... Dutch. But games are 99% in English. Can check it for people if they want to. I know countries like Germany, France, Italy for example rather have their games in their own language, one of the reasons why it takes so long before games are getting here, if this is the case with Manhunt 2 I've no idea.

Is it likely to be illegal to import it into the country under an obscene publications act.
Are we going to see arrests of people wanting to play a fantasy game just incase they mimic the actions in it.

I wasn't going to buy it cuz it's not my type of game and far too gory for me to enjoy but I will buy it now, I'm not having a panel of old men telling me I cannot play it when it is pure fantasy and hurts no one.

 Wow.

Just... wow.

I'm looking at your post and just thinking... that is the most retarded reason to buy a game that I've ever heard. Seriously. If you don't think you'll like it and you won't really want to play it, then why the hell waste the money on it? Screw the panel of old men. It's not like their decision really would've affected you either which way if you didn't want to buy the game in the first place.

Within the European Union there's a free market so there can be no restrictions to getting a video game from another EU country.

I don't know why they give it that rating. They should just rate it ME which means only allowed to be sold to people 18+ this one would be strongly enforced

I think the main problem is that many people won't bother importing it from another country. The people who really really want it will, but a lot of people won't bother. It will certainly hurt sales when you can't just walk into a shop and buy it.
