Resistance 2 looks like a capable shooter, but Left 4 Dead is doing something new and revolutionary, which always trumps safe but fun for me. Only the PC version of Left 4 Dead though.

Resistance 2 online, campaign, and co-op kick the shit out of any other game coming out this holiday season except for maybe Gears 2
