Forums - General - the jump to HD....

who here has made the jump to an HDTV?

for those of you who have, how big was the jump?

for example:

480i to 720P?

576i to 720p?

etc.

for those of you who haven't made the jump, why not?

when i looked at my ps3 for the first time on 1080p...i was like "holy shit".....

now i'm used to 1080p....

hey, just like me

I got a 1080p HDTV which is a lot better than whatever the hell my grandma left me when she died (she bought the tv in 1992). the new tv looks great but i really only watch SD content on it (dvd). i've seen my next door neighboor play blu-ray via his ps3 and althought it does look great i don't find it worth the cost of admission. i'd prefer twice the content (2 dvds) over twice the pixels (1 blu ray).
