But where you're opinion would once have been considered objective fact, it is now highly debatable. The Xbox 360 owns the PS3 in RPG's, and at least matches it in shooters (where it already has a sizable advantage from last year) and platformers.

OT: Since when was Tekken 6 delayed to 2009?

 

Platformers? Explain...I might have missed out on a few but I don't recall any platformers for the 360.

This year its Banjo vs LBP

And if it doesnt come out in 2008, chalk it up as another delay.

 

It won't get delayed.  The arcade machines were built using ps3 hardware (Cell + RSX), and all they have to add for the console version is online and XMB integration.

The only reason they didn't release the game yet is so that they could rake in some profits form the arcade version.  I expect a release date for the ps3 version to be announced at E3, or maybe TGS.

You saying that something is you're taste does not give you free rein to follow up with any ridiculous opinion and expect it to be respected.  Resistance 2 doesn't look nearly as graphically impressive as PS3 fans say it does but I don't respond to that with trollish comments like "this looks like a PS2 game."  The bottom line is that anyone who has seen recent videos of L4D and Too Human gameplay knows that you are BLATANTLY incorrect to the point that you cannot possibly genuinely believe what you just said.

It doesn't help that after that ridiculous comment you effectively called Neos stupid with you're "as you grow older" comment, which some readers like myself to be VERY ironic given what you ahad said.

Wait a minute?  Arn't we talking about games that arn't out by definition?  "2009 line-up."  And then the conversation turned into the "2008 line-up."  This year neither console has received a platformer exclusive.  By the end, the Xbox 360 will have Banjo and Viva Pinata 2 (if you consider it a platformer, but I don't really) and the PS3 will have LBP.  That simple.

As for Rachet?  Its much more a shooter than a platformer, though I'll give you that one.  But Kameo is an AWESOME platformer as well.  It was just FAR too short
