As a Newfoundlander I dislike how the government of Canada allowed us to suffer through an economic depression my entire life and as soon as we generate some oil revenue they start crying how we are a "have province" and that we should make greater normalization payments to them. The unemployment rate here is about 13% and they were never here to help us yet they are here with their hands out when we finally start generating oil revenue. We're just a cash cow producing tax dollars and readily available workers.

Nah dude, its because lots of adult canadians look down on America like they're so much better. I've gotten into heated discussions with Canadians that were jsut so anti-America it was disgusting.

Overall, Canadians are ok, except for their flopping, detatched heads ;) (Sout Park anyone?)

I have a LOT of Canuck friends, and they're cool, except they get me saying "Eh?" a lot. Montreal is awesome for Jazz festivals, Wihstler BC - best snowboarding resort EVAH! Guelph is a neat college town. And of course, the ultimate - Maple Candy! *Homer Simpson drool sounds*

Pssh. Ireland rocks so much harder than any of those! =)

Sorry if some of the following statements are overly stereotypical.

1.) You guys have some insanely hot porn stars and models. Lanny Barby is a fox :D
2.) Wolverine in Marvel Loves the country. Therefor, I, love the country.
3.) You guys are very bored. You guys are usually awesome at video games, awesome at drawing, awesome at athletics >_>; too much damn time on your hands if you ask me.
4.) You guys have fantastic medical, or so I hear, but I have no idea why, it's just amazing.
5.) Apparently you guys want more money >_>

Correction, there is NO SUCH THING as 'free medical', or free anything for that matter. Somebody has to pay for it, because it costs money to provide medical supplies, run hospitals, pay doctors, etc. People have a false sense that if the government pays for something, it's free. This is impossible, as governments have no means in and of themselves to earn money. Any money a government revcieves is from taxes, therefore from the citizenry. Due to this, government provided services are not free, as you, the citizen, are required to pay for these services with your tax money.

Just a little educational message for ya.

And I have no problem with canadians. The way they talk is entertaining, though, and has made for many great southpark episodes.

Actually, we Canadians have a trade-surplus with you guys to the sum of 64.2 Billion$ in 2007 ( http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2008/02/14/business/main3830222.shtml ) and 82 Billion $ in 2006 ( http://internationaltrade.suite101.com/blog.cfm/americas_growing_trade_deficit ) so thanks. :)
