As we all know, Gears of War 2 will be a great game...so was Halo 3. In Halo 3, there were minor upgrades from Halo 2, i.e. graphics, few new weapons, few new maps with old ones redone, but the storyline was the same. Gears of War 2 is going down the same path as Halo 3 with the few new maps, with the remake of a couple of others, graphics pretty much stayed the same, but with better gradients, and the multiplayer only went from 8 to 10 players maximum. The game will sell a tremendous amout of software, only because its it will be over-hyped. Hell, I'm going to buy it myself, just because I like the franchise. To some things up...

Gears of War 2 will do the same thing as Halo 3 with its precessor

Either way, Gears of War 2 is looking to be a beautiful well polished game with an amazing multiplayer component... I really don't think it will disappoint

U can say this about every other franchise on the market. Never heard someone complaining about mario keeping the same style. Have u ever played a beat em up? Tekken, DoA or Soul Calibour always kept the same gaming style, except some minor changes. Same for Final Fantasy more or less, or mario kart. Just don't let me start about all these racing and sport-games.

I think, it is great that there are just some minor changes, because the firs game was just great. The customer knows what to expect when he buys a Gears of War.

i dont think the game is going to be a big jump from the first gears but the first gears was a good game so even if its equal to it, the game will still be good

Gears 2=reason I will dust off my 360.

But between Gears 2, Guitar Hero, Resistance 2, Socom Confrontation and Rock Band I dont know what the hell I am going to do this winter .

Seriously, this holiday season Sh*ts all over last years even with those other massive games being pushed back.
